Zech Biship

Zech Biship grew up with a foot in two worlds — the country music in constant rotation with his family and the pop music that caught his attention as a child. So it’s no wonder his powerful, emotional voice elevates whatever he chooses to sing on, from pop epics to R&B hooks to the occasional country ballad.

The St. Louis native and current Kansas City-based artist started his career in his early teens. Multiple tragedies have influenced his approach to the art and craft of music. The loss of his father led to the song “Calling Your Name,” which drew an audience with its raw emotions and the universally understandable longing to speak with a lost loved one. His follow-up song “Bad At Love” opened his first door into the music industry.

His latest release “Animal Playground” is no joke: a compilation of some of his best work, and the songs that helped him find an audience. He’s following it up with a return to live shows with frequent BLK Breakfast collaborator Daemon, plus a full length album produced by Adrians Beats nearing completion.
